Understanding our terms of service

These terms and conditions outline the most important rules and agreements for engaging with LPC Van Conversions. They reflect our dedication to quality, attention to detail, and going the extra mile for our customers. By using our van conversion services, from small builds to solar system installs, custom interiors, and more, you agree to these foundational principles, ensuring a perfect place for travel, work, and adventures.

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Scope of Works

LPC Van Conversions agrees to carry out bespoke van interior fabrication and installation services as detailed in the accepted written quotation. The quotation forms the entire agreed scope of works. Any variations must be agreed in writing and may incur additional charges.

 

  1. Bespoke Fabrication

All installations are custom-built to the specified vehicle. Materials are ordered specifically for each project. Once materials are ordered or fabrication has commenced, payments are non-refundable except where required by law. Minor cosmetic variations inherent in fabrication and finishing are not considered defects.

 

  1. Payment Structure

Total Agreed Price: £

50% Deposit – due prior to ordering materials

40% Progress Payment – due once fabrication commences

10% Final Balance – due upon completion prior to vehicle release.

LPC Van Conversions reserves the right to retain possession of the vehicle until full cleared payment has been received.

 

  1. Retention of Title

Ownership of all materials and installed components remains with LPC Van Conversions until full payment has been received in cleared funds.

  1. Cancellation Policy

If the Client cancels before materials are ordered, deposits may be refunded minus administrative costs. Once materials are ordered or fabrication has begun, deposits are non-refundable. Labour and material costs incurred up to cancellation date remain payable.

 

  1. Hidden Damage & Structural Issues

If hidden corrosion, accident damage, unsafe prior modifications, or structural weaknesses are discovered, LPC Van Conversions reserves the right to pause work and issue a revised quotation. Work will not proceed where safety is compromised.

 

  1. Workmanship Warranty

A 12-month workmanship warranty applies from completion date covering installation defects only. This excludes wear and tear, misuse, overloading, unauthorised modification, third-party interference, battery misuse, and lack of maintenance. The vehicle must be returned for inspection before remedial work is authorised.

 

  1. Electrical System Responsibility

The Client is responsible for routine inspection and correct operation of installed electrical systems. LPC Van Conversions is not liable for damage caused by battery over-discharge, misuse, or modification after handover.

 

  1. Load & Vehicle Weight Responsibility

All racking systems are designed for general commercial use. The Client is responsible for safe loading, correct weight distribution, and ensuring the vehicle remains within its legal gross vehicle weight. LPC Van Conversions accepts no liability for damage caused by overloading or unlawful operation.

 

  1. Insurance

The Client must maintain comprehensive vehicle insurance while the vehicle is in LPC Van Conversions’ possession. LPC Van Conversions is not liable for fire, theft, vandalism, or events beyond reasonable control except where caused by negligence.

 

 

  1. Storage & Abandoned Vehicles

Vehicles not collected within 5 working days of completion may incur storage charges of £25 per day. Uncollected vehicles may be treated as abandoned and disposed of in accordance with the Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977.

 

  1. Timeframes & Force Majeure

Completion dates are estimates only and subject to supplier delays, material shortages, illness, weather conditions, or other events beyond reasonable control.

 

  1. Limitation of Liability

LPC Van Conversions’ total liability shall not exceed the value of the works supplied. The company shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses including loss of business, downtime, or earnings. Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

 

  1. Data Protection

Client data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR for contract fulfilment, invoicing, and communication purposes only and will not be shared except where legally required.

 

  1. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
